Story
After her husband's sudden death, Nawal discovers that not having a son threatens her right to her home and to custody of her daughter, and she fights a daily battle against inheritance laws and family pressure. The first Jordanian film shown at the Cannes Film Festival, where it took part in Critics' Week and won two awards. The story is inspired by an experience close to its director, Amjad Al Rasheed.
